Wingman came to us after being surrendered to a pound.   Apparently he had been living in an apartment since being adopted from another shelter, so he’s already been through at least a couple of homes.  Wingman is quite a big fellow, so apartment living was definitely not going to work for him!

Wingman is a pretty easy going fellow, but due to his size and strength he will require a family experienced with the breed that are capable of handling a large dog and are committed to his ongoing training.  Due to his size, he is only suitable for families where any children are at least secondary school aged.

He can be reactive to other dogs when he first meets them, so for this reason he will need to go to a home where he is the only dog.  He would also not be suited to a home with cats or other pets.

Wingman loves his daily walks and is quite well behaved on lead, but he will need a confident handler that can help him remain calm and under control when he sees other dogs or animals.

Being a big boy, Wingman will need a decent sized backyard with secure fencing that is at least 6 foot high, and of course undercover areas for him to shelter from the weather.
