Winter will need:

• A home on her own or with a tolerant male dog of similar size
• No cats, pocket pets or other animals
• Daily walks, always on lead
• A reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
• Fences and gates will need to be at least 6 foot high, secure and dig-proof

Homes with Arctic breed experience, preferably with Huskies, will be given priority.

Winter is a laid-back ginger lady looking for a new family to call her own.

Winter is quite a chilled girl and can be a bit aloof, so while she is happy for a cuddle she is also happy to do her own thing. She loves to go for a walk and enjoys the occasional zoomie session with her playmates, but hanging out with her people is what she loves best.

Winter is quite a calm girl so she would be suitable for a family with children who are experienced with larger dogs and Husky antics.  She is just as happy lying around out in her yard as inside the house, and has quite good lead manners.

Typical Husky rules apply with regard to requiring 6ft high secure fences and no small animals – cats are just too tempting to chase!

Winter has been in foster care for a while and would love to find her forever home, so if you meet her requirements please apply!

Winter is not available for interstate adoption and is not suitable for apartments, homes with very small yards or rural areas.
