There is handsome and then there is Leo.

Leo is a little bit up himself due to being so incredibly good looking!   His arctic aloofness and bossy nature lends him to need an experienced Mal/Husky family that can set clear boundaries, read body language, set him up for success and are confident handling independent dogs.

Leo is a very clever boy and has a great obedience foundation – especially if treats are on offer!   He takes a little while to warm up to new people at first, but then is happy being affectionate once he’s made friends.

Leo has previously lived with a large breed female dog, so possibly may be suitable with a new canine sister, as long as she was happy to let him be the boss.   Due to his high-handed attitude, he isn’t suitable around young children.

Leo has a magnificent coat which will require regular grooming, with someone willing to be patient with him as he doesn’t like formal handling in a high stress environment.

This stunning young chap is currently in a shelter environment and is getting quite stressed, so we are looking for a new home for him urgently.   If you have great fencing, no cats or other small animals and are experienced with bossy fluffy butts, please apply!

Leo is not available for interstate adoption and is not suitable for apartments, homes with small yards or rural areas.
