Jay Jay was a very sad surrender case as his owner was not able to look after him any more due to health issues, and was devastated that he had to part with him.

So this lovely old chap was welcomed as one of our long-term fosters, and is enjoying life mooching around with his senior Husky lady friend, Possum.

Jay Jay was found to have hyperthyroidism and is now on daily medication to get his levels back to normal, however they are still being monitored to make sure we get it right.

He’s a contented fellow, happy to lie around and watch the world go by.  He prefers to bark at the rabbits rather than chasing them, but he does enjoy a short walk every morning and is becoming more active now his medication has taken effect.

We hope Jay Jay will continue to improve and will have many more years with us!
